Jacobs is seeking a Help Desk Integration Engineer to support a prime contract in our Columbia, MD office. Duties may include:
Provide engineering, analysis and technical support for the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and associated Public Key Enabled Applications Help Desk
Provide troubleshooting support to users and resolve issues
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Monitor ticket queue and respond to Incident and Service Request tickets accordingly
Migrate users to Public Key Enabled Applications and assist with the use of the applications.
Test new versions of Public Key Enabled Applications
Perform user acceptance testing following test procedure
Provide metrics on ticket resolutions and document lessons learned
May require occasional call-in.
Two (2) years of college in a computer field and five (5) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience for a total of seven (7) years. Progressive relevant training and/or certification in appropriate discipline may be substituted for one (1) year of the education or experience requirement.
A minimum of 3 years of engineering, analyst or software experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
Active TS/SCI with current polygraph
- IAT Level I DoD 8570 Compliant (A CE, CCNA-Security, Network CE, or SSCP certification)
Working at a computer or desk (Considerations: Sitting, Eyes, Hands)
May involve long periods of sitting
An inside office environment (Considerations: Closed quarters, lighting, and temperature fluctuations)
Needs to be able to work well with and support co-workers and clients
Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills
Equipment and Machines:
- Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstation
Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines
Regular attendance is necessary and required
