Jacobs is seeking a Help Desk Integration Engineer to support a prime contract in our Columbia, MD office. Duties may include:
Provide engineering, analysis and technical support for the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and associated Public Key Enabled Applications Help Desk
Provide troubleshooting support to users and resolve issues
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Monitor ticket queue and respond to Incident and Service Request tickets accordingly
Migrate users to Public Key Enabled Applications and assist with the use of the applications to include RSA token distribution and association
Perform user acceptance testing following test procedure
Provide metrics on ticket resolutions and document lessons learned
May require occasional call-in
Here’s What You’ll Need:
At least 3 years of engineering, analyst or software experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
Ability to provide basic engineering, analyst, and technical support
Active DoD 8570 Compliant IAT Level II certification
Active TS/SCI w/polygraph
Experience with PKI Certificate Management and Enterprise implementation
Experience with Virtual desktop environment
Working at a computer or desk (Considerations: Sitting, Eyes, Hands)
May involve long periods of sitting
An inside office environment (Considerations: Closed quarters, lighting, and temperature fluctuations)
Needs to be able to work well with and support co-workers and clients
Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills
Equipment and Machines:
- Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstation
Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements
Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur
After hours, weekend, and shift work may be required at times. Candidate should expect to participate in an on-call rotation which requires being available for short notice call-ins.
