Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking a Help Desk Integration Engineer to support a prime contract in our Columbia, MD office. Duties may include:

  • Provide engineering, analysis and technical support for the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and associated Public Key Enabled Applications Help Desk

  • Provide troubleshooting support to users and resolve issues

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers

  • Monitor ticket queue and respond to Incident and Service Request tickets accordingly

  • Migrate users to Public Key Enabled Applications and assist with the use of the applications to include RSA token distribution and association

  • Perform user acceptance testing following test procedure

  • Provide metrics on ticket resolutions and document lessons learned

  • May require occasional call-in

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of engineering, analyst or software experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.

  • Ability to provide basic engineering, analyst, and technical support

  • Active DoD 8570 Compliant IAT Level II certification

  • Active TS/SCI w/polygraph

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with PKI Certificate Management and Enterprise implementation

  • Experience with Virtual desktop environment

Essential Functions:

Physical Requirements:

  • Working at a computer or desk (Considerations: Sitting, Eyes, Hands)

  • May involve long periods of sitting

Work Environment:

  • An inside office environment (Considerations: Closed quarters, lighting, and temperature fluctuations)

  • Needs to be able to work well with and support co-workers and clients

  • Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills

Equipment and Machines:

  • Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstation

Attendance:

  • Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements

  • Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur

  • After hours, weekend, and shift work may be required at times. Candidate should expect to participate in an on-call rotation which requires being available for short notice call-ins.
