Your Impact:
Responsibilities:
The candidate will work with customers to develop security configuration solutions for enterprise operating systems and or software tools.
Stay abreast of emerging technology, major OS versions.
Provide support to system POC and answer questions related to security configuration.
Provides highly technical and specialized recommendations concerningautomated solutions to complex information processing problems
Performs analyses and studies
Prepares reports and gives presentations
Participates in medium to large, complex information and system securityprojects, and major phases of very large projects
Provides highly technical, specialized recommendations, and security solutions to complex IT problems
Manages the fact-finding, analysis, development of hypothesis/conclusions, andproduction of final reports and delivery of presentations
Delivers projects in accordance with the Government’s requirements
Assists the Government with the development of requirements, from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular IT subject matter area (i.e., simple-to-complex systems)
Assists other project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization,development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: Information andSystems Security Architecture; Networking; Telecommunications; Automation;Communications Protocols; Risk Management/Electronic Analysis; Software; LifeCycle Management; Software Development Methodologies; and Modeling andSimulation
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Requirements:
Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required plus 12 years of related work experience
A Master’s Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering or related field of study may be substituted for 6 years of experience
Proficient level knowledge of Operating Systems, computer security and security scanning tools.
Preferred: Proficient level knowledge and application of DISA STIGS.
