As a Senior Network Engineer, you are responsible for design and build of the firm’s core network infrastructure. This encompasses WAN, LAN, firewall, load balancing and cloud focused at our global Data Centre locations. The role will consist of the task-based initiatives and projects working with a global network team, vendors and stakeholders. Operation and maintenance of core infrastructure within our data center locations along with availability for escalation for field incidents as needed.
You will be involved with assessment and validation of new design and new implementations of network technologies, equipment, and telecommunications services. You’ll implement and support cost-effective solutions following corporate internal standards. This includes troubleshooting of the global network services infrastructure, supporting monitoring tools and engaging with the business and other IT functions to understand use cases, and to securely deploy and maintain appropriate solutions. Your collaboration and business acumen will help you understand and articulate the high-level principles, requirements, and progress of initiatives clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be a member of a small remote network team with the ability to work in a self-guided environment as well as with a group.

Typical salary range for this position is $82,100 to $147,500 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For “remote” positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.

The base salary range for this position is $87,500 to $197,100. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations [add if remote]. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Extensive experience with F5 load balancer including design, implementation, application delivery and security solutions to optimize the performance and availability of applications
Advanced Experience with Cisco Nexus datacenter switching infrastructure and architecture (VxLAN, Spine and Leaf)
Advanced Experience with Cisco routing platforms and dynamic routing protocols
Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls including administration via Panorama
Experience with Azure Cloud network services, including express route, virtual WAN for a large tenant
Experience with Cisco Wireless controllers and infrastructure
Project planning and management skills to complete projects and activities within established goals.
Ability to work effectively with vendors, staff, management and end users at all knowledge levels
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially when communicating with internal customers
Thorough analytical skills
Proficient in handling multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and demanding environment
Fast learner - able to grasp concepts from on-the-job training
Teamwork and internal customer skills
