As an emerging Entry Level/ New Grad Construction Manager, you’ll have the chance to work on the City of Wapakoneta’s Water Treatment Plant Upgrades construction project based in the City of Wapakoneta. This exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure project will utilize your construction focused experienced to provide safe and efficient delivery. Construction is anticipated to begin the 2nd quarter of 2021 and continue into 2023.

You’ll work with Jacobs Construction Managers, Project Managers, Inspectors, and Engineers in addition to the Project Client and Contractors to deliver these projects. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

  • 0-2 years’ experience in delivery of and/or supporting technical work in a construction environment, specifically construction specifications, drawings, and documentation

  • The physical ability to move around an active construction site

  • Excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills to deliver results

  • The ability to develop interpersonal relationship building, resolve conflicts, and participate in diverse teams

  • Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, and strong data analysis & technical problem-solving skills

  • The ability to adapt and learn on the job

Ideally You’ll Also Have:

  • The educational background to obtain a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and/or Professional Engineering (PE) license(s) after years’ of experience are achieved

  • Experience with inspecting, constructing or designing for multiple trades
