We are looking for a Senior Transportation/Roadway Project Manager to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio.
The purpose of this position is to lead multi-disciplined transportation projects that focus on highway, roadway and interchange projects and pursuits. You will be a Project Manager on large transportation projects throughout Ohio and will be responsible for managing project teams to pursue work, perform preliminary and final design engineering and prepare documentation to satisfy the requirements for local and State roadway projects.
The daily responsibilities of the Senior Transportation/Roadway Project Manager are:
Have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Focus on client service and satisfaction that leads to repeat business
Lead, inspire and mentor staff and project teams
Be responsible for communication, status reporting, decision making regarding technical approaches, risk management, and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved by the team.
Lead the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and organization of internal technical and support staff, and subcontractors for the project
Maintain a close relationship with clients, track upcoming project opportunities, and collaborate on project pursuits
Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil/transportation engineering
Professional Engineering (P.E.) license for the state of Ohio
15-20 years' experience in the transportation engineering field
Prior experience on large scale ODOT projects preferred
