We're looking for a Digital Delivery Technical Coordinator – Smart P&ID Super User, who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for the technical quality of key project deliverables, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You will become a part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive team, providing technical support and expertise in software used to execute process engineering design. You will be responsible for drafting P&ID’s, set-up, configuration and customization of the P&ID database and symbology, as well as supporting and leading project work. As a Super User you will be an integral part of the global engineering team. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology in Process Controls, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree

  • At least 10 years of CAD drafting/design experience with manufacturing projects (Autodesk Plant 3D software experience required; Life Sciences project experience desired but not required)

  • Working knowledge of process design in 3D modeling software and cross platform experience for CAD packages (e.g. Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Plant3D, SmartPlant, Integraph CADWorx, Bentley Microstation)

  • High level of experience in the use of Smart P&IDs, including set-up, configuration and customization in an integrated environment

  • Basic knowledge of correlation between the P&ID database and the 3D piping model is preferred

  • Working knowledge in what it takes to ensure data and database integrity

  • Experience in creating user training material, workflows, work instructions and detailed technical specifications for using Smart P&ID database applications.

  • The ability to lead and experience in managing and supervising workloads for drafters/designers who provide support for engineering projects in a global environment

  • The ability to manage and create reporting options throughout the project lifecycle in Smart P&ID applications via custom built reports, or external software like Microsoft Access or Excel.

  • Great communication and the soft skills required to facilitate working with the customer and teams located all over the globe

  • A mindset for forward thinking, be eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

  • The ability to work with complex systems

  • The ability to learn quickly and be driven to broaden knowledge base

  • The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

  • Knowledge and experience of how Smart P&IDs integrate with other tools in the same platform as well as tools outside of the common platform.
