Position Summary:

The Field Planner Scheduler will be part of the Jacobs Construction, Maintenance and Turnaround site team. In this support role, the candidate will be the primary point of contact for the coordination of all field scheduling activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops detailed schedules and work plans

  • Facilitates agreement with multiple departments on milestone dates

  • Provides technical direction on projects, formulation and developing advance scheduling and planning concepts

  • Develops, maintains, and analyzes critical path plans and related schedules

  • Monitors job progress in relation to schedules

  • Coordinates with material expediters concerning critical items of supply

  • Participates in expenditure forecasts

  • Perform schedule analysis

  • Assist with contacting contractors to get final cost on PO’s to be invoiced

  • Identify when PO’s have reached 75% of their value but work completed on schedule is less

  • Assign percentages for spend vs committed per PO


  • Minimum of 5 years of field experience in planning for turnarounds, capital projects, maintenance and/or industrial construction

  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Projects & Excel

  • Maximo experience, a plus

Candidate must be local; no per diem or relocation offered
