Position Summary

  • Specification and technical requisition of various instrument types: Flow, Pressure, Temperature and Analytical Transmitters. Diaphragm, Control & Shut off valves.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills

  • Fieldbus, Profibus and AS-i Bus Design

  • Position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.

  • Deep knowledge of ISA, IEC, and EN Standards.

  • Experience in working as part of a team in schedule driven multiple discipline projects.

  • Biopharma experience preferred. Semiconductor, Pharma or Oil and Gas an advantage.

  • Creation of Instrument Database from P&IDs

  • Familiarity with industrial computer systems, motor control, PLCs and DCSs.

  • Very good proactive communicator.

  • Development of System Architecture drawings, block cable diagrams, instrument hook-up drawings, termination schedules, layout drawings, scope of work documentation etc., for compilation into a construction package for issue to I&C contractor

Qualifications

  • OPC interface standard for connectivity of process control systems

  • GAMP 5 guidelines for validated automated systems

  • ISA standards for specification of instrument

The candidate should be competent users of the following particular systems:

  • MS Access database

  • MS Office suite

  • AutoCAD would be advantageous, but not necessary

  • Hands on PLC,DCS or SCADA software development would be an advantage
