Jacobs Senior Transportation Engineer in Corvallis, Oregon
Our dynamic team of engineers in Corvallis, Oregon is looking for a Senior Transportation Engineer to help us grow our roadway practice along the I-5 corridor. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and support exciting transportation infrastructure projects across the region and around the globe, while also focusing on strategic business development efforts to help us find and deliver local work. As our team expands, you’ll use your design expertise and professional experience to lead and mentor junior staff. About Corvallis: - Located in the Willamette Valley, Corvallis is home to miles of running, hiking, and mountain biking trails, in addition to Oregon’s burgeoning food and wine culture. - Our office is minutes from the Oregon State University campus, with easy access to Pac-12 sports, professional development, and cultural opportunities. - Corvallis is less than an hour from the beach, two hours from the Oregon Cascades with excellent hiking, alpine, and Nordic skiing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (transportation/roadway focus)
• At least 10 years related experience in transportation work, with an emphasis on infrastructure projects
• Professional Engineer License (PE)
• Previous Department of Transportation (DOT), County or Municipal experience
• Willingness to cultivate and maintain client relationships, and help identify new business opportunities
• Strong Civil 3D or MicroStation background • Strong mathematical, analytical and time management skills
• Ability to deliver creative solutions to complex transportation challenges
• Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects preferred
