We are seeking individuals to support the expansionof our Geospatial expertise within the UK Geomatics business. We require anAssistant Land Surveyor to work with our Surveyors primarily in carrying outTopographic, Hydrographic, and 3D Laser Scanning surveys. This position is an entry level role and would suit a school leaver or a candidate with 1-2 years working experience.


Responsibilities associated with this post willinclude:

  • Liaisingwith members of the Geomatics team to enable work to be delivered to time,budget and quality

  • Communicateproject related issues to the relevant Senior Utility Surveyor and GeomaticsProject Manager

  • Assistingin the production of survey drawings and reports

  • Partakingin the production of Method Statements and Risk Assessments and Safe Plan ofActions


Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of GCSE grade A-C in Mathematics andEnglish

  • A desire to develop your career by learning on thejob, in a practical, outdoor, team environment.

  • Strong personal management and timekeeping skills

  • You will need to have a full UK driving licence asthe role will involve travel to site locations

  • Enthusiasm and flexibility are required and youmust be prepared to spend time on site away from the regional office

Desirable Skills

  • A/AS Level (or equivalent) qualifications inMathematics and / or Geography

  • Relevant work experience in an outdoor, site basedenvironment

  • Previous Land Surveying or Underground UtilitySurveying experience
