About the Opportunity:

At Jacobs, our people are the most important resource. We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Operations Director to oversee our Sellafield and National Operations accounts by bringing the best of both and having the foresight to deliver the massive opportunities that exist in both areas. This is a strategic appointment and the successful applicant will manage a number of Operations Directors in supporting frameworks and projects with overall P&L responsibility to meet agreed forecasts, take accountability for cross project re-deployment activities and links into the wider CMSI organisation by delivering the EAS Strategy both Nationally and Locally continuing the exciting growth opportunities that exist and maximising Horizontal Integration.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensuring that all our personnel work in a safe and secure environment, ensuring that suitable and sufficient functional support is available to the team;

  • Integrate and manage the existing Sellafield and National Operations teams;

  • Accountable for the generation of Quarterly Forecasts and the monthly P&L to meet agreed targets;

  • Support in maintaining updated SQEP activities;

  • Interfacing with and building client relationships across the new area;

  • Ensure that Commercial governance and where required recovery takes place;

  • Ensuring that business processes and governance takes place at every point;

  • As part of the EAS Senior Leadership Team ensure that messaging is open and clear, and a no surprise culture exists; Promoting internal personnel development and ensure that vertical integration takes place.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Experience of leading operational teams at a senior level to deliver an agreed strategy;

  • Experience in Business Leadership positions including P&L accountability;

  • The ability to think and act Strategically is crucial to ensure that continued managed growth is achieved, while managing operational audits and develop improvement plans;

  • Experience in sales & senior stakeholder management is essential;

  • Experience in managing operation teams delivering a significant Digital Transformation;

  • Exceptional HR & IR Capability is crucial;

  • Implementation of corporate processes are critical;

  • Ability to engage and develop strong relationships with senior managers and stakeholders through strong management and communications skills.
