Bring your knowledge of energy solutions and program management skills to the forefront in providing a planned, documented, and managed engineering approach to the start-up, commissioning and turnover of facilities, systems, and equipment to the end-user, resulting in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations, while building overall value.
We want you to participate in and lead operational selling of commissioning and energy solutions services to existing and new clients aligned with market strategies, to include development of RFP/RFQ responses and pricing. Your leadership will help define elements such as project budget, quality oversight,and direction to staff in project performance.
A list of typical duties and responsibilities would include:
Identification of owner’s goals, needs, and expectations for building operation and function including commissioning.
Define commissioning roles and scope for members of design, commissioning and construction teams; prepare commissioning plan and interface with validation plan where applicable. Confer with project staff to devise work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
Develop and support startup/commissioning safety plans and procedures, assure conformance to company guidelines and practices.
Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Monitor commissioning results against technical specifications; ensuring that commissioning is executed in line with established company practices and procedures.
Understands the formal Design Record documents and location/accessibility. Assures in-situ conformance to C&Q documentation requirements.
Review system boundaries and develops project startup and turnover sequence.
Review status reports prepared by commissioning personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
Prepare commissioning progress reports for management, client, or others.
Coordinate and/or attends design, construction, startup, commissioning and qualification meetings.
Reviews and approves RFIs and change orders related to the commissioned systems.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Progressive experience with overall building commissioning processes, including project management
Ability to establish long term relationships based on the strategy of trusted advisor role
Demonstrated presentation skills as well as confidence in client/design team/construction team interactions
Ideally You'll Also Have:
Facility manager experience
Contractor’s license or experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related
Professional Registration (P.E.)
