As a Fire Protection Engineer working with our Built Environment team in the West Coast, you’ll use your skills and experience to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging buildings projects. This role can be based remotely or in one of our California offices in San Francisco, Sacramento or Los Angeles. You’ll assist in the design of Suppression and Fire Alarm systems while also helping develop the plans for the overall building safety.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection, Fire Protection Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering technology degree
4+ years technical experience in a fire protection design or consulting role involving fire protection systems
Professional Engineering (California PE) license
Working knowledge of NFPA and ICC codes and standards
Proficiency with Revit/Revit MEP
Proficient in fire protection system design and code compliance
Prior experience with Building and Fire official negotiations
Previous experience on projects as discipline/technical lead
