As the FP&A Business Partner, you’ll join a team who steers decision making for Global financials. In this dynamic environment, you’ll navigate and overcome challenges, paving the way for you and your team to experience continued success and growth. You’ll drive the annual plan and quarterly forecasting processes by preparing reports and providing analysis of cross-functional operations and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for engaged and impacted stakeholders. Your industry knowledge and expertise will help you identify trends and, accordingly, make recommendations for continued growth, process improvement, cost savings and dynamic transformation. Developing and delivering timely business analysis, you’ll evaluate and approve capital spend and track progress against the plans you’ve implemented.

As the FP&A Business Partner, you’ll:

  • Proactively shape and influence FP&A decision-making process by managing the analysis and reporting around key business drivers.

  • Convert monthly and quarterly detailed financial data into understandable reporting summaries, analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations to be used by business leaders

  • Support the monthly forecast process and annual budget plan process in a manner that drives and supports the strategic imperatives of the business, leveraging the documented forecast process and timelines.

  • Assist in monthly close process to ensure proper financials are reported. Including, but not limited to accruals, reclassification entries, variance analysis & other required reporting.

  • Participate in key business initiatives, prepare "what - if" scenarios on certain business risk factors, break-even analysis, and perform benchmarking and other ad-hoc projects as necessary.

  • Collaborate with Corporate Functions on Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives.

  • Analyze, recommend & implement process improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency of the Finance processes while also increasing the informative value of the content provided to Senior Leaders.

  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data for our business leaders.

  • Support LOBs and Functions during Quarterly Business Reviews and Quarterly Functional Reviews As a Jacobs innovator, you’ll collaborate with a team of geographically dispersed financial gurus, while each of you discovers what drives you.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

  • Experience in supporting central corporate functions as well as Lines of Businesses/Business Units; Advanced P&L and financial modeling skills

  • Highly developed and proven analytical and problem-solving skills, must be able to proactively engage financial data to make recommendations

  • Ability to convey financial results to non-finance team members

  • Outstanding Excel and Microsoft Office skills
