As a Senior Client Account Manager for the Built Environment portfolio in North Texas, you’ll have the opportunity to impact strategic business relationships to win work with new clients and sustain and grow new work with existing clients. You’ll lead a well-established integrated team influencing sales process discipline, win strategy proposal development, interviews and presentations. We’ll rely on you to advocate on our client’s behalf by actively engaging the firm to address client needs while recommending strategic actions to optimize our business development investment and market growth. The team will look to you to facilitate collection of our knowledge regarding the client and their needs and set growth strategy and priorities for our business with the client.
To be successful in this role you’ll have experience with a proven success in winning a broad range of project types and sizes with diverse private and public sector clients. A track record of coordinating teams and winning work on an area or statewide basis within the North Texas / Oklahoma region. Coupled with sales knowledge on how to develop client account plans and win strategies, identify contracts well in advance, respond to RFPs/solicitations, interview and win new work. Your ability to lead an account team, set a vision and strategy, coach/mentor and motivate the team will bring you to the next level and help reach within Jacobs to offer best-in-class solutions, manage commercial and legal negotiations, and close deals .

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Proven client development skills with high level existing contacts and strong relationships with regional public and private clients. Engagement and/or leadership on local industry and business organizations.
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in an applicable related technical or business field, or equivalent related work experience in lieu of a degree
At least 15 years of experience in architecture, engineering, planning, consulting and/or related disciplines associated with the built environment market sector.
Experience in business development with a focus on Buildings in the Higher Education, Corporate/Commercial, Manufacturing/Industrial, Mission Critical, State & Local, and Healthcare sectors.

Experience with personally engaging on key pursuits including the development of sales strategy, managing proposal teams, addressing contract terms and conditions, and developing competitive pricing models
