Jacobs Manager, Information Technology Asset Management - Remote in Dallas, Texas

As the Manager of IT Asset Management, you’ll hold overall strategical and tactical accountability for the program, ensuring that software and hardware assets and entitlements are maintained through their lifecycle in alignment with policies, procedures and processes of all IT services areas. In collaboration with IT leadership and functional and technical stakeholders, you’ll define tracking requirements and implement the necessary policies and procedures to ensure accurate asset tracking.
Additionally, in this key role, you’ll:
Keenly oversee the development and maintenance of the asset tracking systems used to maintain accurate asset inventories and reporting
Develop and communicate organizational strategies to key stakeholders and business partners
Ensure entitlement compliance with supplier contracts
Develop and implement policies and procedures for tracking IT assets throughout their lifecycles • Establish desktop procedures to maximize the effectiveness of day to day asset tracking processes
Collaborate with procurement, financial, and legal departments in analyzing budgets, proposals, and vendor contracts
Create usage reports to accurately track license allocation, consumption and renewal deadlines
Communicate regularly with IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of activities and accuracy of asset data
Establish linkage with budgeting and procurement processes to track asset acquisition, utilization, and retirement of assets
You’ll lead the Asset Management Coordinator (AMC) team to discover what inspires them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. As their mentor and leader, you’ll provide operational support, training, performance feedback, and succession planning. Your collaboration and business acumen will help you understand and articulate the high-level principles, requirements and progress of initiatives clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Here’s What You’ll Need:
Extensive, successful experience in IT Asset Management, which could include AMDB/CMDB in a large, global organization
Hands-on experience interfacing with Asset Management applications and systems
Top-notch business and analytical skills, focusing on key issues and creating solutions
Extensive knowledge of and experience with Oracle (or comparable ERP)
Proven experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
ServiceNow experience and certification
