Our Global Built Environment business is a connected global network of strategists, planners, architects, interiors, designers, engineers, managers and constructors that provide strategic leadership, design innovation, and project execution. This dynamic practice spans the globe, with over $1.5B in revenue and includes 5,000+ professional staff. We support government, commercial, institutional, and industrial clients across diverse markets and services. In addition to more traditional services, our expertise spans all aspects of specialty consulting to include asset management, economics, business development, and scientific advancement.

As the Built Environment Market Specialist, you’ll work in partnership with key business stakeholders and regional communications directors to promote Jacobs capabilities and brand, internally and externally. Your efforts will help to increase global brand awareness and client growth opportunities by leveraging the appropriate combination of tactics such as thought leadership, press releases, news stories, editorials, collateral advertising, social media, targeted trade show and conference events and other client engagement methods such as podcasts and videos. Your focus on external communications will be promoting stories that reinforce the company and market strategies and growth initiatives, while addressing the nuanced needs of the clients we serve and our industry leading practices. Internally, you’ll specifically support our people’s awareness and understanding of our Built Environment Market Strategies and how the growth of each of our markets contributes to the overall success of the business.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Deep domain knowledge of key Built Environment markets, including architecture, engineering solutions, cities & places, interiors, federal buildings and PMCM from a global perspective.

  • Extensive and comprehensive Marketing and Communications experience from a corporate or agency background, with extensive health experience.

  • Exceptional ability to work with broad group of stakeholders and on own initiative to proactively drive Built Environment Marketing and Communications strategy in collaboration with the global Leadership Team

Ideally you’ll also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Communications, or other related area
