At Jacobs, we’re providing industry leading Munitions Response solutions in the areas of planning, compliance, investigation and removal/remediation. We’re seeking a strategic operations leader to profitably grow Munitions Response opportunities and successfully pilot these projects through delivery. You’ll apply your technical experience in munitions response to develop competitive and innovative strategies to grow our Munitions Response business while also providing project delivery support.
You’ll support our business development team to successfully position for munitions response work by developing technical approaches and strategies using your knowledge of the market and our clients. You’ll grow your career as you interact with key clients to grow our business, increasing competitiveness and market share, while also mentoring and nurturing junior technical experts delivering the work. You’ll contribute to the development of corporate-wide policies and procedures and conduct sales and operations consistent with these. Working with our Portfolio Operations Director and Sales Principal, you’ll create a business plan for accomplishing profitable growth and operations of the Munitions Response business and execute the plan, responding accordingly to changing market conditions. You’ll collaborate on strategies for execution of the Scope of Work contained in IDIQ Contracts and Task Orders, development of proposal responses, including technical approach development and pricing, and assignment of key personnel.
By designing and navigating the strategy across Munitions Response projects, you’ll help your team understand the clients’ goals. Bring your knowledge of state-of-the-art Munitions Response investigative techniques and remediation technologies along with your desire for strategic growth in the Munitions Response market, and we’ll solve our clients’ toughest environmental challenges, together.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree
Experience in Munitions Response investigation and remediation with emphasis on positioning for, bidding and winning firm fixed price (FFP) projects, field operations and project execution
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Experience in the successful bidding and delivery of FFP USACE Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) and MMRP Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDS) projects
Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience working in key USACE districts – Baltimore, Omaha, Huntsville, and Sacramento
