As the Oracle/General Ledger Analyst, you’ll be actively engaged in:
General Ledger Accounting Support of Global users on various GL-related issues including costing from all submodules (AR, AP, PA, FA, LCD, etc).
Research of issues submitted by users to determine root cause, solution, and future prevention.
Implementation/Data conversion support for GL including requirements gathering, transactional data conversions, reconciling key subledger control accounts, GL End user training and support
Testing in Jacobs test instances with documenting all testing activities for production issue fixes or enhancements which require a system change including but not limited to modification of existing process, code or new development.
Driving improvements and enhancements in collaboration with Corporate GL, other submodule owners and the business including requirements gathering, interaction with submodule owners, IT and OFS support team members from beginning to end processes, testing, and implementation
Reporting enhancement development/testing for deployment in Jacobs Analytics, Oracle or other reporting tools for GL including intercompany elimination and SEC reporting.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Previous business and technology support experience
Previous experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 application
General broad knowledge of submodule processes and the effects on GL
Proficient computer skills using MS Office tools, Proficient Excel skills a must (pivot tables, vlookups, etc)
Ability to collaborate with others
Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of management and external auditors
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, and prioritize competing priorities
