As a Project Designer in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas office in you’ll contribute to a team member, leading small project efforts as well as working with a senior designer on larger-scaled projects to develop interior environments that enhance organizational performance and achieve the client’s business objectives utilizing best practices and creative design solutions. You’ll use your 2D and3D conceptual skills to communicate design ideas and direction, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration while conforming to budgets and schedules. In addition, the candidate may support the global Workplace Performance Strategy team to promote knowledge driven design grounded in people, space, and work performance.
Works independently as a project designer on smaller projects or may work under the direction of the Senior designer on larger efforts
Assists in setting assignment objectives and work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy
Contribute to the development of new ideas, techniques, and standards
Participates in the implementation of the project process including workplace strategy pre-design services including, survey and utilization data analytics, visioning and employee engagement focus groups, development of benchmarking, space types and real estate and space metrics, detailed programming, space planning, conceptual design, design development, and construction documents
Interacts with external personnel and clients on significant matters
On smaller projects, may have responsibility of meeting with clients bringing back objectives to team
May assist with training and managing less experienced design staff
Has knowledge of construction administration
Has considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
Assists in the pursuit of new client relationships and projects
Here’s What You’ll Need:
At least 6 years of applicable professional experience, with a focus on corporate / commercial projects
Bachelors or higher-level degree from an accredited school of interior design or architecture
Working towards or has interior design certification
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and 3D visualization tools required
Strong graphic presentations skills with proficiency in Creative Adobe Suite applications
Familiarity with design process, including FF&E related tasks
Capability to work in a team setting with good collaboration skills
Solid presentation abilities

Ideally, you’ll also have:
Experience in a corporate design environment
Involvement in Philadelphia professional organization(s)
NCIDQ, LEED, WELL and/or Fitwel Certification(s)
