Jacobs Project Information Management System (PIMS) Business Analyst - US REMOTE in Dallas, Texas

Project Information Management System (PIMS) is a digital transformation of traditional workflows and information management for design and construction projects. PIMS is a web- based platform that integrates traditionally disparate applications, data, and workflows into a single, authoritative platform. PIMS provides web and mobile based forms for both field and office data collection workflows and takes advantage of geospatial information system.
The Jacobs Project Information Management System (PIMS) team are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst who can analyse, interpret and baseline user requirements and user stories across a diverse range of internal and external clients and stakeholders in the Civil Engineering industry. You’ll liaise with Product Managers, Technical Leads and the global Beyond If team who are supporting through incubation. The role will be based in the US and have a key focus on our PIMS product working with the project teams across multiple environments baselining requirements and working collaboratively with the Product Manager, Business owners and development teams.
Role tenure is anticipated to be approximately 4-6 months, with the potential to extend and/or become permanent based on the initial research and analysis outcomes.
As the PIMS Business Analyst, you’ll:
Interpret and baseline user requirements/stories for product development
Interpret requirements for Civil engineering projects
Liaise with project teams/users during the analysis and planning stages of PIMS feature development
Design and test new workflow processes
Facilitate a successful release handover and UAT
Engage in user story development, tasks and EPICS, sprint planning activities
Inputting into prioritisation of tasks/fixes for development
Evaluate risks and predicting potential problems
Establish deliverables and defining the delivery process
Agree and document key specifications and processes
Act as a local liaison between the business, and the Product Manager/Digital factory
Evaluate Key Performance Indicators
Facilitate educational workshops for team members on best practices
