As a Project Manager you’ll facilitate thought leadership and project delivery excellence, which is a pillar of our values here at Jacobs. To meet our growing business needs we are seeking to appoint several Project Managers at a variety of levels. To be most successful you should have past experience managing a variety of project types simultaneously and have the ability to operate autonomously, with authority, skilled in developing and building relationships. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future – big and small, global and local.

Technical/Functional Responsibilities:

  • Focus on clients and projects within the water and environment sector for various public and private sectors clients, including national government bodies, local authorities, and water/energy clients.

  • You may also deliver projects for key framework clients as well as support projects in other sectors.

  • Expect travel to client sites when needed.

  • Provide sound guidance and strategic advice to both your team and clients as you fulfill these roles; Our clients face myriad issues and will lean on you for expert advice and guidance.

  • Develop existing relationships and identify new clients to secure new business opportunity.

  • We are flexible with physical work location.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelors Degree in appropriate Engineering, Environmental or Management field.

  • 5 years' experience with project management on Storm Water, Drinking Water, Wastewater and/or related projects.

Ideally You’ll Also Have:

  • Professional Engineer License in Texas or Oklahoma

  • Demonstrable knowledge of writing project quality and delivery plans

  • Ability to use Microsoft Project and or Primavera, to write and manage project schedules

  • Good understanding of the technical work undertaken in the water, utilities and or environment sector
