This is an exciting and unique opportunity to play a vital role on our team as Sr. Construction Manager on a wide range of large, multi-year water, wastewater, conveyance, and storage projects for major municipal clients in Texas. In addition to our current portfolio of construction projects, the Construction Manager will serve as an important component of our long-term growth strategy in Texas and beyond. 

As Senior Construction Manager, you will provide full‐time RPR management services to monitor and document the progress and quality of the construction, ensuring that projects are accomplished in conformance with the contract documents. You will often be called on to be an ambassador with multiple project stakeholders, with the ability to utilize “soft” skills and an in‐depth understanding of potential construction impacts on the public to: 1) develop contract language to ensure such impacts and changes to the contract are minimized, and 2) carry out positive interactions with the general public during pre‐construction and construction activities.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management

  • A history of construction delivery roles with progressively increasing responsibility, including detailed infrastructure RPR experience (experience does not have to be contiguous)

  • Demonstrated leadership and management of teams on large, multi-year, water/wastewater construction projects 

  • Proven ability to interface with government agencies and public entities

  • Detailed understanding of total project delivery requirements, including planning, design, and construction

  • Commitment to and experience with team and staff development

  • Demonstrated capabilities in multi-agency environments

  • Ability to track and manage general contractors and subcontractors

  • Extensive working experience with utility infrastructure development, particularly in major urban environments

_Ideally, you’ll also have: _

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects with at least $100M in construction costs.

  • Experience with projects that utilize alternative project delivery, including Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, and Construction Manager at Risk
