We’re are seeking an Architect to be a member of our healthcare planning project team on projects across the country utilizing a standardized, consistent approach to defining and solving healthcare planning issues. You will have the option of working remote and/or in one of our Jacobs main offices across the country.

As a vital member of our team you’ll coordinate, monitor master planning processes related to programming budgeting and planning on site, with facility and multidisciplinary teams. Guide meeting for healthcare provider and facilities, to define functional planning criteria and record room-specific data. As an expert in your field you will develop healthcare master plans and functional space plans for major healthcare projects. Present conceptual project budgets that follow a logical market driven analysis, conduct presentations to perspective clients, and promote continued client relations that support the conversion of planning engagements into program/project management assignments.

*This role is not location specific, we will be considering multiple location for the right candidate.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Senior experience as a professional architect with specialization in master planning specifically in functional healthcare space programming and planning.

  • BArch degree

  • Licensed Architect

  • Knowledge AutoCad, BlueBeam Extreme

Ideally, You’ll also have:

  • Knowledge of Guidelines for the Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities and NFPA requirements as they apply to healthcare facilities.

  • Knowledge The Joint Commission survey and accreditation guidelines and capable of reviewing and giving opinions on recent surveys.

  • Familiar with infection control in buildings and construction of occupied facilities.

  • MSArch degree
