Jacobs has an opportunity for a Senior Associate Civil Engineer to join the team in Darwin. In performing this role you will be a key leader in helping drive growth for our business in the Northern Territory. You will support the broader Northern Australia Civil Infrastructure Team by providing civil engineering design and project management input, mentoring less experienced staff, preparing tender bids and marketing to external and internal clients. Some of the role responsibilities include:
• Undertake the role of Project Manager, Design Manager or Project Director depending on the nature of the project;
• Undertake lead roles on civil infrastructure pursuits and projects leading to the ongoing growth of Jacobs’ Northern Australia business;
• Identify and develop pursuits and secure projects for the local and wider team.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory requirement)
• National Professional Engineer Registration (mandatory requirement)
• Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (desirable requirement)
• Good interpersonal skills who develops others and has the ability to build strong client relationships
• Understanding of industry standards and best practices
• Construction Safety Training (White Card) and current driver’s license.
