As the Construction Project Manager (CPM) lead Construction services as the on-site agency/advisor for a large $100M phased laboratory renovation in greater Denver area.
Coordinating the efforts of each CMa staff discipline to effectively manage DBE activities relative to project costs, schedule and workmanship.
Acting as principal on-site point of contact between the CMa and client organization.
Coordinate off site and on site resources for Cost, Schedule, SME’s, CxA, Move Management and IT.
Deep Change Management experience with emphasis on Cost Estimates, Proposal reviews, Schedule impact reviews and all associated documentation to process change orders on DB contract.
Responsible for other functions including Safety and financial reporting.
Excellent computer skills preferred.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
At least 10 years of progressive experience in design and construction managing projects of similar type.
Ability to be security cleared through Client requirements in addition to Jacobs clearance checks.
Knowledge of medical, laboratory or research operations and mechanical/electrical systems associated with such facilities, including Schedule, Cost and other support functions.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with client and contractor/tradesmen in performance of duties.
Must demonstrate ability to successfully lead the CMa team to manage the DB contractor and coordinate within the client organization which also includes multiple tenants.
Ideally, you’ll have:
A professional registration is preferred, AIA, PE, CCM or PMI certification.
Experience in design-build projects.
