Jacobs Environmental Remediation Intern -Central/Midwest United States- Hybrid - Summer 2025 in Denver, Colorado

Based out of the Central or Midwest United States (preferred locations: St. Louis, MO ; Denver, CO), you’ll assist a team of project managers, scientists, geologists, and engineers in delivering environmental services on time and within budget for world class projects. You’ll work with a knowledgeable and supportive group of professional staff as you plan and execute field activities including soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and remediation system maintenance; prepare scopes of work for subcontracts, conduct data analysis on field and laboratory data sets, and create technical reports documenting completed activities and results. Estimated time spent doing field work is approximately up to 75%, with some of that being out-of-town travel

In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or closely related field
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Willingness to perform field work
United States Citizenship
Ability to work in one of the preferred locations for this internship (St. Louis. MO; Denver, CO) or other Central or Midwest US locations based on project needs
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 GPA
A previous internship related to your field of study
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
Ability to obtain 40-hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) training and current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher class, if needed for role
