Jacobs has an exciting opportunity to hire a Photogrammistrist to support their Denver, CO office. This is an entry level position and not eligible for relocation. Local candidates will be given preference. Candidates must be able to work in the US without current or future sponsorship needs.
Compile planimetric and DTM data from stereo aerial imagery.
Create digital orthophotography.
Manage CAD files and related data.
Provide technical analysis of imagery and photogrammetric mapping data.
Perform quality reviews of their work and the work of others.
Cross train in other remote sensing disciplines.
Adhere to policies, procedures, standards, specifications and regulations defined by law, clients, Jacobs and industry practice.
Preserve and enhance the Jacobs brand through job knowledge and technical excellence.
Collaborate with a multi-discipline geospatial team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma is required.
Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in applicable field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of photogrammetrist experience is required
Proficiency with CAD operations, drafting procedures and geometric construction is preferred.
Experience with Bentley MicroStation preferred.
Experience performing flight planning and aerial triangulation preferred.
Experience developing CAD standards and processes and mentoring teammates preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Word, & etc.) preferred.
Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, algebra and basic math preferred.
Experience with the following disciplines preferred: surveying, laser scanning, remote sensing, LiDAR, CAD, GIS, geophysics, or subsurface utilities.
Proven ability to compile planimetric and DTM data from stereo aerial imagery is required.
Must be team player possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills is required.
Must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision is required.
Working knowledge of computers is required.
Good social and communication skills is required.
