Jacobs have been appointed to provide PMC services to one of Qatar's government entity. The main scope will be providing PMC service to the client's major highways, road and infrastructure projects. You will join as a Senior Project Manager and take on management responsibilities on tunneling projects across the country. You will have a strong record in Health & Safety and be able to demonstrate strong management skills. You must be meticulous with site paperwork and be able to report in to a Contracts Manager with progress of the projects.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the Project Management of Projects and Programme(s) of Works within various Department Portfolios. The essence of this job will be to successfully manage and monitor the project and programmes by,
Ensuring and reviewing project management compliance related to Projects.
Liaising with heads of delivery teams and key stakeholders to effectively manage various projects.
Coordinating with all relevant parties and representatives such as owners and legal authorities to minimise any disruption and ensure the completion of the projects in time and within cost.
Collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a degree in Engineering with at least 15 years of experience in tunneling projects. Good knowledge of TBM or NATM Tunnelling methods. You should have experience of leading multidisciplinary engineering/design team. Desirable to have experience in working with and within government agencies or clients side generally at a senior level.
