Jacobs GIS Analyst (Dublin) in Dublin, Ireland
Our Digital business unit was formed to bring together the wide array of digital skills from across the wider Jacobs business with a specific focus on commercialising solutions and leading Jacobs and our clients on their respective digital journeys. Our extensive portfolio of projects involves working with major public and private sector clients across multiple markets.
The team is currently experiencing unprecedented growth and is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to help us achieve our ambitious plans. You will work alongside members of the Digital team with a range of data capture, analysis, visualisation, advanced spatial analysis and compliance technologies, including the Jacobs ProjectMapper and Track Record systems. In doing so, you will provide critical input to delivering projects on time and budget.
Through exposure to an expanding range of market sectors and an extensive knowledge pool, you will deliver dynamic, innovative solutions to internal and external clients by thinking both logically and creatively
This role will be based in the Jacobs Dublin office where you will join a team of established geospatial specialists.The role would initially be full time working from home, with on-going flexibility in work location once offices reopen.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Strong knowledge and experience of GIS theory and application;
Experience in both ArcGIS desktop and ArcGIS Pro;
Experience delivering GIS projects for internal and external clients;
Advanced numeracy, analytical and computer skills for data manipulation and data management;
Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
A problem solver with good degree qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent evidence of continued professional development (CPD
Knowledge of developing and promoting GIS solutions through an agile approach;
Knowledge of databases and GIS integration (ArcGIS Server/ArcSDE);
Experience of broader ESRI product suite including ArcGIS Server, Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS Online;
Experience of data capture using mobile devices (use of Collector, Survey 123 or alternatives);
Understanding of BIM principles and awareness of ISO 19650.
