Graduate Mechanical/Building Services Engineer

What you’ll be doing:

As a Mechanical/Building Services Engineering graduate, you would be involved in supporting the Senior engineering team in preparing the following:
Calculations (Heating, Cooling, Black and grey Utilities, Compressed Air Etc) and Utility Load Analysis
Schematics (Airflow & Instrument Diagrams, Utility Process & Instrument Diagrams)
Schedules & Lists (Equipment, Inline and Terminal items, etc)
Data Sheets (AHUs, Boilers, Chillers, etc)
Specification of mechanical plant including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressors, pumps
Drawings (AHU Zoning, Pressurisation, Services General Arrangements)
Contract Requisitions (installation contracts, turnkey equipment)
Risk assessments, safety and constructability reviews
Preparation of cost estimates, tender and construction packages
Coordination of design with other discipline
You may also be required at times to attend client sites to assist with:
Supporting the Senior Engineer with on site activities (Survey activities, BCAR inspections, commissioning etc )
Support during construction (contractor queries and submittals)
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Hold (or working toward) an Honours and accredited BEng level degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
The drive and motivation to become a chartered engineer
Clear communication style, proven team working skills and a strong customer focus
The ability to produce well-presented reports
Ideally you’ll also have:
- Honours MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
