The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. They will exhibit a passion and desire to apply their technical experience and knowledge in a team environment on technically challenging and professionally rewarding projects. Our team is seeking a person who understands the importance of meeting their targeted commitments while being flexible to the ever-changing and fast paced environment of our clients’ sites. You will report to the Regional Electronics Project Controls Director for Europe/MENA (Electronics)

Duties will include:

Pricing / costing of Proposals for new project opportunities.

  • Working in cooperation with Sales and capture managers

  • Analysing RFP client Bid forms.

  • Preparing internal Pricing tool templates

  • Preparing GM analysis for use during Price fix meetings

  • Maintaining files on sales folders

Project cost control on active projects.

  • Including assisting PM’s with client project setup.

  • Supply of internal weekly / monthly reporting to PM team and regional MGT

Liaising between PM / Legal / Finance regarding Project financials

  • Verifying project contractual documentation is adequate for project setup

Monitoring project change.

  • Maintaining Change control logs for all project changes

  • Facilitating uploading of change budgets to accounting system.

  • Interacting with Project PA team

Productions of Weekly / Monthly cost reports

  • Providing reports monitor project performance expenditure against budget/ forecast

  • Liaising with Engineering leads to gather and process monthly forecasts

  • Ensuring business procedures are maintained regarding monthly upload of financial status to accounting systems

  • Providing and assisting PM with monthly review data via POLARIS system

Assisting in production of project invoicing.

  • Creating backup documentation.

  • Liaising with Project accounts

  • Liaising with client – coordination with client invoicing systems

  • Tracking invoices --- regular submission/ follow up on payment receipt

Producing and monitoring KPI’s.

  • Project expenditure trending

  • Forecast variance

  • Labor mix – grade level / PU mix

Maintaining monthly forecasting reports to finance dept.

  • Working with Project discipline leads to gather monthly forecast

  • Processing forecasts

  • Production of monthly Project financial reports

  • Ensuring all financial data is uploaded to accounting systems by monthly due dates

Production of project schedules.

  • Maintenance of project deliverable / Package schedules

This vacancy is for a mid-level resource, preferably with 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar background.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying

Ideally, you’ll also have Accountancy experience (within engineering industry)
