Jacobs Project Director - Life Sciences in Dublin, Ireland

In order to support our growth strategy we are seeking applications for the position of Project Director. As a Project Director with Jacobs you will direct project teams to execute and deliver large scale EPCMV Biotech/Pharma projects located either in Ireland or mainland Europe.

The ideal candidate must be able to take responsibility for the safe delivery of the project including contract administration, invoicing, forecasting, schedule management and quality documentation as well as managing client relationships. Your passion for safety & quality should align well with our culture and you’ll be expected to demonstrate this when engaging with colleagues as well as clients.

A broad description of duties & requirements are included, but not limited to, the below:

  • Degree qualified in appropriate management, engineering subject or equivalent

  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects on schedule and on budget

  • Proficient knowledge of project management and construction management processes and procedures

  • Proficient execution planning skills

  • Highly skilled at managing client expectations

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and practices

  • Proficient knowledge of project control systems

  • Knowledge of proposals and bid processes

  • Ability to work under a variety of contracts

  • Ability to manage a variety of subcontractors
