About the Opportunity
Here in Ireland, with offices in Dublin, Cork and Belfast, our growing Water & Environment team boasts an extensive portfolio working on high profile, challenging projects, providing multidisciplinary solutions to water, wastewater, environment, flood management and energy clients both here and in the UK. From feasibility studies and planning, to design, construction management and operations and maintenance, we bring together the talent and expertise necessary to deliver success.
We currently have opportunities for a Water Civil Engineer with water/wastewater engineering experience to join our Water & Environment team. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.
Successful individuals will be responsible for the delivery of engineering design elements and projects on water and wastewater projects at various stages in the project life cycle ensuring technical excellence and best practice to specification. They will be required to work with and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets and to exceed our clients’ expectations. As a senior member of our team, successful individuals will also be required to provide leadership across our team both from a technical and managerial perspective ensuring effective team development and performance.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Minimum of an accredited Honours Civil Engineering Degree (NFQ Level 8).
Working towards Chartership.
Experience in the water or wastewater engineering industry.
Proven ability to work as part of a team, liaising directly with client and other project team members.
Excellent communication skills, including written work.
Experience of budget management, financial performance and familiar with current industry best practice and a working knowledge of contract types and procurement options.
Experience of leading, or be able to demonstrate potential to do so, a successful team of engineers.
