  • Provide direct support toGovernment (GOV) Program Manager (PM) in Block Community Programs.

  • Participate in staff, eventcoordination, training and concept meetings.

  • Provide support to GOV PM in thedevelopment of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures Development (TTPD)materials, access rosters, event agendas, facility schedules, safetyprocedures, SOP’s, After Action Reports and any other documentation pertinentto overall TTPD event success.

  • Provide administrative support tohandle logistics, TTPD material production, scheduling, shipping, purchasingresearch and reporting.

  • Provide support in gathering TTPDinformation from SME’s for inclusion in the production of student handoutmaterials including books, reference cards and CD’s.

  • Plan and coordinate with POC personnellocated at DPG or off-site in support of TTPD events including scheduling offacilities and ranges.

  • Assist in coordinating all localRange Support function including but not limited to: generator support, fuelsupport, latrines, water,all heavyequipment support and any other West Desert Test Center (WDTC) division supportrequirements needed for successful event execution.

  • Coordinate Safety and UXO briefsprior to all TTPD events.

  • Provide coordination and supportfor the sustainment, operation and inventory of the program’s facilities,equipment and materials.

  • Travel as necessary in directsupport of off-site event execution, planning meetings and/or training.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Associates degree from an accredited college/university and 6 years experience or a total of 8 years experience in trainingmanagement or project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must clearly demonstrate written and oral communication abilities. Demonstrates ability to problem solve and effectively execute multiple phases of training and testing directives.

Must be capable of assisting in project completion under general supervisory guidance. Serves as an assistant to subject matter expertise in an area critical to testing, training and problem solving. Must be competent in basic software MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.

A valid drivers license is required.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements:

  • Medium- Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:

  • Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting).

  • Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates.

  • Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management.

  • No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions. Office is located on site in Government spaces at: Dugway Proving Ground, UT.

Equipment and Machines:

  • Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required. Standard Chemical Laboratory equipment may be required.

Attendance:

  • Regular hours will be between Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

  • Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.

  • Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Other Essential Functions:

  • Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers.

  • Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others.

  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.

  • Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required.

  • Travel to and from customer’s locations and the test fields may be required to support projects.

  • This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary.

  • When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.

  • This position will require a valid driver license to operate a variety of vehicles.
