Job Description
Jacobs is seeking a qualified project manager (PM) to provide information technology (IT) project management in a rapidly growing and diverse U.S. Air Force (USAF) special enclave network supporting 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract that provides the Air Force support services in the areas of network, security, and test & evaluation. Positions will be located at Eglin AFB, FL.
This position provides project management advice and technical support to support classified networks, associated operational personnel and will join the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Partner Support Complex (PSC) team at Eglin AFB, FL. The candidate will support multiple programs as a PM for systems processing PSC JSF information. Programs supported include the Australia–Canada–United Kingdom Reprogramming Laboratory (ACURL), the F-35 Norway / Italy Reprogramming Facility (NIRL), and the MDx reprogramming lab team. In this role, the candidate must be able to:
Perform strategic planning and analysis for long-range computer network operations.
Write Statements of Work (SOWs) and Statements of Objectives (SOOs).
Coordinate with local organizations as well as MAJCOM/Air Staff and other DoD agency personnel on accomplishments of projects and project objectives.
Interface with technical/engineering customers.
Manage diverse groups across all computer support disciplines.
Activities may be directed, monitored, outlined, and supervised by a more senior program manager or Task Lead, but employee must be able to work independently.The employee will perform other project manager/analyst tasks, as assigned. Travel to locations other than Eglin AFB, FL, to include overseas travel, for temporary duty may be required periodically.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience and 3 to 5 years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certification.
Program Manager course (or equivalent experience) is required.
Technical degree in IT or related technical field or program management is highly desired.
Formal training covering JSIG/DCIC security principals is desired.
Required Skills:
Electronic Warfare mission data development familiarity is desired.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, troubleshooting, and USAF IS security is desired.

Required Clearance :
Must have an Active/valid Secret clearance with investigation close date no older than 5.5 years at the time of application.
Must be willing to submit for a TS/SCI (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)
Must be willing to submit to a CI polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Government organizational hierarchy.
Knowledge of USAF computer, personnel security, and facility directives (specifically JSIG and DCID documents).
Familiarity with accepted program/project management practices, the Air Force budget process, and USAG security requirements is essential.
Working knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows 7 & 10) and computer network principles such as DNS, WINCS, Active Directory, and computer applications such as Exchange, and Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
Ability to work effectively with strong, diverse personalities.
Demonstrated ability to offer exceptional customer services.
Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communicates skills
Capacity to work supervised. Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen.
Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
Due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Work Environment
Work site is located at Eglin AFB, FL.
Office setting that includes sedentary physical effort. However, may include lifting of weight up to thirty (30) pounds

This position supports an operational work center during the standard Monday-Friday work week. Shift work may require on a rotational or permanent basis as determined by mission needs.
Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings.
Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.
Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements. Other Essential Functions
