We are seeking a competent, technical, detail-oriented tax professional to assist International Tax Management in all aspects of international tax provision, as well as compliance, planning and research.

Your Role: A hard working, technical, hands-on tax professional that is responsible for international tax matters within the corporate tax department. Monitors potential impact of tax legislation and formulates tax savings plans to alleviate or reduce an increased tax burden.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating preparation of the international tax provisions and returns, including tax audit support.

  • Preparation of international components of US federal income tax return including forms 1118, §367 Disclosures, Subpart F and §956 calculations.

  • Preparation of earnings and profits and basis calculations for foreign subsidiaries, including related dividend and FTC planning.

  • Preparation of source of income and expense calculations, including GILTI, BEAT and FDII.

  • Assist with tax planning and research.

  • Assist with tax audits in the US and abroad.

  • Assist with the execution of strategies and policies related to international taxes in line with the goals and objectives of the tax department and company.

  • Solves a range of straightforward problems through knowledge and technical experience in own discipline with a moderate level of guidance.

  • Analyze factual information and possible solutions and make independent judgments, decisions and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA, MST, or JD preferred

  • Requires relevant professional experience (approximately 2-5 years)

  • Experience in Big 4 or corporate tax department, with emphasis in the international tax area preferred

  • Technically adept with US E&P, FTC, and Sourcing rules and regulations

  • Familiarity with Subchapter C (taxation of corporations and shareholders)

  • Experience with Corptax Tax Compliance and Provision software a plus.

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Manages own workload

  • Positive attitude that contributes constructive work environment
