When it comes to environmental consulting, we are focused on challenging today and re-inventing tomorrow. As our compliance and permitting work continues to grow, we have an immediate need for an experienced Environmental Engineer or Scientist to lead or support the development and implementation of air quality compliance, permitting, emission inventories, federal NSPS and NESHAPs regulatory experience, while developing innovative solutions for our clients. In addition to preparing technical deliverables to clients and agencies, an ideal candidate would have an understanding of continuous emissions monitoring of boilers, boiler cylinder gas audits and relative accuracy test audit experience.
Based in Everett, Washington, you’ll have the opportunity to work on-site a client facility and support air quality compliance and permitting requirements. You’ll have the opportunity to work with and mentor junior staff, conduct environmental assessments, monitoring and surveying. You’ll work with teams to coordinate general environmental compliance during project planning and execution. Grow your skill set as an environmental professional as you support and/or manage this project through on-site support.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related field from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Experience as an air quality practitioner in regulatory compliance in industry or in a consulting environment
• Understanding of federal/State environmental regulations
• To support their air quality program, the client facility is seeking onsite support for up to 40 hour per week.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have Experience With:
• Familiarity with continuous emission monitoring (CEMS) of Boilers
• Boiler cylinder gas audit (CGA) and relative accuracy test audit (RATA) requirements
• Boiler National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) tune-ups
• Monthly and annual reports of air emission estimating and tracking
• Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions inventories
• Familiarity with Notice of Construction (NOC) permitting with Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA)
