About the opportunities
The Transport Planning & Mobility Solutions team at Jacobs is one of the largest in the UK & Ireland, with a varied client base and strong pipeline of work supporting national and international project delivery.
We are looking for talented graduates to come and join the South-West and Wales Team. Based in Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff we deliver for local clients as well as supporting our colleagues across the UK&I and globally.
Our skillsets cover the full remit of transport planning and include active travel, streets design, traffic engineering, junction design, transport modelling/appraisal and transport policy and strategy. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have an interest in developing active travel and mass transit schemes, transformational placemaking and traffic management solutions.
You will have the support of a mentor, our management team and experts to guide your progress. You will also be given the ability to pursue relevant business and technical training to support your career development. as well as the freedom to grow your network and knowledge base to create innovative solutions. This opportunity is for transport planning and traffic engineering graduate roles in our Exeter office.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
An interest in transport planning/traffic engineering such as:
Healthy Streets schemes
Active travel schemes
Mass transit schemes
Junction improvement schemes
Be working towards a relevant Degree or Masters level qualification such as Geography, Planning, Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Data/Computer Science, Civil or other Engineering.
To be a flexible and innovative self-starter who brings a curious mindset to finding solutions for real-world problems.
The adaptability to learn, unlearn and re-prioritise as things around you change.
You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
