The Quality Specialist (Design & Construction) is responsible for developing and maintaining effective quality related aspects through development of instructions, procedures, training, reporting, assessment and audit, measurement and analysis, and continuous improvement.
Our Quality Specialist will:
Assist the Program Quality Manager to conduct reviews of the quality related elements of the design & construction quality management plans to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and that mandated quality objectives and targets are tracked and reported on
Conduct audits of Design & Construction Contractor
Prepare audit reports, record and follow up on audit findings
Guide the Owner’s Representative monitoring team, as needed, to ensure a systematic review of the Design & Construction Contractor’s records of testing, inspection and acceptance is conducted
In coordination with the Program Quality Manager, develop and report on the status of key quality performance indicators and report on quality trends analysis
Preparation of quality reports summaries and making any necessary recommendations for improvement
Assist with tracking and reporting of nonconformance status and their associated noncompliance points
Assist with preparation of training material and deliver quality training.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
5 years quality assurance experience
5 years construction related experience
Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills to deal with complex, multi-disciplinary issues involving Third Party agencies, governments, and other stakeholders
Understanding with material testing and inspection
Procedure writing, process improvement
Ideally, you’ll also have:
5 years experience in construction infrastructure projects
5 years of experience assisting the development of quality management systems and lead auditing
BS Degree Engineering or Architecture
