Your Impact:

The Quality Specialist (Design & Construction) is responsible for developing and maintaining effective quality related aspects through development of instructions, procedures, training, reporting, assessment and audit, measurement and analysis, and continuous improvement.

Our Quality Specialist will:

  • Assist the Program Quality Manager to conduct reviews of the quality related elements of the design & construction quality management plans to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and that mandated quality objectives and targets are tracked and reported on

  • Conduct audits of Design & Construction Contractor

  • Prepare audit reports, record and follow up on audit findings

  • Guide the Owner’s Representative monitoring team, as needed, to ensure a systematic review of the Design & Construction Contractor’s records of testing, inspection and acceptance is conducted

  • In coordination with the Program Quality Manager, develop and report on the status of key quality performance indicators and report on quality trends analysis

  • Preparation of quality reports summaries and making any necessary recommendations for improvement

  • Assist with tracking and reporting of nonconformance status and their associated noncompliance points

  • Assist with preparation of training material and deliver quality training.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • AS degree

  • 5 years quality assurance experience

  • 5 years construction related experience

  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills to deal with complex, multi-disciplinary issues involving Third Party agencies, governments, and other stakeholders

  • Understanding with material testing and inspection

  • Procedure writing, process improvement

  • Auditor certification

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 5 years experience in construction infrastructure projects

  • 5 years of experience assisting the development of quality management systems and lead auditing

  • BS Degree Engineering or Architecture
