Jacobs Transportation Planner (Plantation, FL) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

When you join us, you’ll support a variety of transit planning projects including: bus operations modeling/scheduling, service planning, service assessments, corridor planning studies, feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, long-range plans, and other plans/programs. You will participate in staff augmentation and other services for a transportation expansion program for the Broward County, FL, supporting the Transportation department in expansion of bus services.

• Perform job description from the Broward County Government office located in Plantation, FL.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent

• Substantial post graduate, professional years of experience in transit / transportation planning projects

• Experience using software to developing new or assess existing bus operations plans

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Proficient experience / seasoned in Hastus ATP with a deep understanding of IT specific to GTFS, OIG and CAD/AVL.
