Your Impact:

Jacobs is currently interviewing TS/SCI w/Poly cleared candidates for an IA Security Manager. The position will be supporting our government customer at Fort Meade, Maryland.

The IA Security Manager will be providing mission critical support to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) office. This role:

  • Performs analyses and studies on metrics, prepares reports and gives presentations

  • Provides monthly and quarterly metrics analysis

  • Provide research and assessments on current topics to provide support for policy evaluation and update.

  • Provides highly technical, specialized recommendations, and security solutions to problems

  • Manages the fact-finding, analysis, development of hypothesis/conclusions, and production of formal reports

  • Delivers projects in accordance with the Government's requirements

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • The primary role of personnel in this position will be to provide high-level Information Assurance expertise to support the client’s mission of assessing and maintaining the security posture of the Agency’s information systems.

  • Provides highly technical and specialized recommendations concerning automated solutions to complex information processing problems

  • Performs analyses and studies

  • Prepares reports and gives presentations

  • Participates in medium to large complex projects, and major phases of very large projects

  • Provides highly specialized recommendations and solutions to complex problems

  • Manages the fact-finding, analysis, development of hypothesis/conclusions, and production of final reports and delivery of presentations

  • Delivers projects in accordance with the Government’s requirements

  • Assists the Government with the development of requirements, from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular IT subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems)

  • Assists other project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties:

  • CCRI

  • CSSP

  • DoD Scorecard


  • IC Scorecard

  • ICD502

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required plus twelve (12) years of related work experience

  • A Master’s Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering or related field of study may be substituted for six years of experience

Desired Requirements:

  • BS degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) to fourteen (14) years of progressive, relevant experience, or an MS degree in a computer or system science discipline and eight (8) to twelve (12) years of progressive experience, or a Ph.D. degree in a computer or system science discipline and four (4) to seven (7) years of progressive experience.
