Jacobs JAVA & Cloud Analytic Developer - TS/SCI w Polygraph in Fort Meade, Maryland

Your Impact:

Jacobs is hiring for a JAVA & Cloud Analytic Developer to support a program in Hanover, MD. This program will enable the Government to obtain subject matter expertise and highly technical assistance in building and maintaining prototype and niche analytics and tools; this contract will also enable the Government to maintain and document these prototypes and niche developmental efforts.

The Developer will be tasked with the following....

  • Using leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources.

  • Developing prototypes, answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.

  • Developing new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks.

  • Working directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment, performing outreach to evangelize product adoption.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

  • Experience with Java, Pig

  • Customer GHOSTMACHINE analytic development

  • Experience with Hadoop (Map Reduce, Accumulo, & Distributed File System (HDFS))

  • Experience with Linux

Education/Experience Needed: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS) degree or related field plus 5-years of relevant experience, Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience, Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or High School diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience

Preferred but not required:

  • MongoDB

  • ReactOS

  • Microservices architectures

  • Data science/Machine Learning architectures
