Jacobs is seeking an experienced yet versatile Senior Software Developer . Provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems for one of the world’s biggest cybersecurity companies.

  • Use expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software

  • Provide analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases

  • Plan and schedule new applications systems projects with user, systems software, and computer center operations personnel, including the identification of objectives, time frames, costs, and manpower requirements

  • Perform tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques

  • Review and evaluate systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety


Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Unix/Linux development experience, Windows development experience (Visual Studio), and Python development experience

  • Strong C programming skills, CNO background

  • Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience

  • Understand assembly programming concepts (PowerPc preferred, but x86 accepted)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study and three (3) to five (5) years of experience (Preferred)
