Jacobs Entry Level Project Accountant in Fort Worth, Texas

As part of Jacobs’ Project Accounting team, you’ll join a group of strategic-focused professionals who support projects worldwide. Along with your team, you’ll maintain projects in Oracle, review contract terms, issue and review client invoices, perform monthly reconciliations of billed/unbilled vs. revenue, and regularly analyze and verify the accuracy of project data. You’ll also participate in internal and external audits, prepare rate adjustments on provisional billing rates, and perform detailed GL analysis to prepare final invoices for assigned federal projects. Your keen attention to detail will lead to your success in performing all of these project critical functions.

*This position is currently working at home, but will likely transition some in-office time in Ft. Worth

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent major

  • Professional Accounting experience, with working knowledge of ERP system, preferably Oracle

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

  • Familiarity with the government contract compliance regulations found in the FAR, CAS is required

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Detail orientated with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage various deadlines and client requirements

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
