Jacobs’ Asset Management Group (AMG) resides in the greater Strategic Consulting Practice. The consulting practice focuses on providing leadership to public and private sector organizations improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the management of the built environment. Engagements range from studies and implementation of asset management programs to business process re-engineering and portfolio optimization.
We are seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Data Scientist.
Bring your technical expertise to the forefront as you guide, develop, and maintain our competitive advantage using advanced analytics and data science in support of internal initiatives and external client needs. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with recognized expertise in data management, statistics, computer languages, business process engineering, and system integration with the ability to mentor/train our consultants/analysts. Typical analytical services range from simple data processing to fully integrated interactive decision support systems installed on existing client systems.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
B.A. or B.S Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field) from an accredited university
Demonstrated progressive experience in data science to include: Client studies, modelling, EDA, data wrangling, ETL, and/or ML/AI
Fluency in Python, R, and/or other computing languages
Experience with a variety of Business Intelligence tools
Proven and dynamic leadership capabilities; training relevant staff on technical data skills
Proven ability to work directly with clients in complex analyses and presenting deliverables to non-technical personnel
Ability to travel as necessary to meet project and client requirements
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and be self-directed
Proven ability to work within a collaborative team environment, excellent communication skills, and coordinate activities between program components
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Ability to pass background checks and related due diligence for security clearance
Active Secret or TS clearance
