About the Opportunity

The Quantity Surveying function within the Major Programmes business unit of Jacobs UK operates out of a number of UK centres, serves all industry sectors and provides clients with a full range of pre and post contract quantity surveying and commercial management services. We have an opportunity for an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Glasgow and to work on a wide range of programmes and projects, locally, throughout the UK, and further afield. Jacobs offers hybrid working with the option to be full-time in our Glasgow office if desired.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Degree educated in quantity surveying or other relevant qualification.

  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) preferred.

  • Working knowledge of common industry standard forms of contract, typically JCT and NEC.

  • Good general commercial and contractual awareness.

  • Use of computerised measurement packages – such as CostX.

  • Good team player.

  • Able to act on own initiative.

  • Full clean UK driving licence.
