Our established HR function is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Consultant to join us part-time (30 hours p/w), on a 9 month fixed-term basis. This role is based from our Glasgow office, however travel across the UK will be required.

As a HR Consultant you will support Jacobs employees, whilst advising and coaching managers on a range of HR Generalist matters, including:

  • Employee relations

  • Performance management

  • TUPE

  • Disciplinary & Grievances

  • Retaining and engaging employees

  • Employee development and career life cycle

  • Compensation and bench marking

  • Diversity and Inclusion

  • Change management

You will also work closely with HR Business Partners to execute programs and initiatives.

Your key relationships will include:

  • Operations & Functional Managers

  • HR Business Partners

  • HR Delivery Manager

  • Global Business Systems (GBS)

Qualifications

Essential:

  • HR Generalist experience

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent)

  • Good knowledge of UK Employment Law

  • Experience of supporting and advising operations

  • Negotiation and influencing skills

  • The ability to identify and limit employment law risk to an organisation

  • Solutions focused

  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
